Ethics, Boundaries and Decision Making in Practice

Registration begins at 8:00 am, workshop is 8:30-12:30 pm

This workshop focuses on decision-making in practice through an analysis of the factors involved in a model of ethical consideration with emphasis on moral and ethical contexts. Use of practice scenarios and personal reflection will enhance understanding of boundaries for practice as well as risks inherent in practice situations.  The WI Social Work Code of Conduct [MPSW 20] and the NASW Code of Ethics will be utilized in demonstrating the applicability in decisions within and between organizational contexts. A total of 4 CEU’s will be available for this training.

Presenter: Joan Groessl, MSW, PhD, LCSW earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from UW-Milwaukee and PhD from Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI.
