Human Trafficking Awareness Event: November 12th
A Human Trafficking Awareness Event will be held Saturday, November 12 at Peace Lutheran Church (1954 County Road U, Green Bay, 54313) from 8 am to 12 pm.
The keynote speaker will be trafficking survivor Theresa Flores. Other speakers include Sister Celine Goessl, Lt. Andy Opperman of the Green Bay Police Department, and representatives from Eye Heart World, Shared Hope, the Sexual Assault Center, and 5 Stones.
The event is free and open to the public. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, youth ages 13-18 may attend only with parent or guardian.
