Volunteers Needed

Point in Time Street Count

Wednesday, January 27th into Thursday, January 28th

The Statewide Point in Time Count is an active street count.

During this street count, teams of four volunteers go to designated areas throughout Brown County during the overnight hours and look for individuals who are homeless and living on the street or in their vehicles.

These individuals are provided with resource information and a backpack filled with hygiene supplies, food & water.

Each team is led by a Team Lead, an individual who has experience conducting the street count.  There are a total of four individuals on each team-one Team Lead and an additional three volunteers.  Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts.

There is a new meeting location this year-New Community Shelter, located at 301 Mather Street.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the shift.

A mandatory Volunteer Orientation will be held 10 minutes prior to the start of each shift for all volunteers of the street count (at 11:50pm and 2:20am).

Please note in the “My comment” section which organization recruited you to volunteer for the Point in Time Count.
