11/09/2015 Brown County Homeless and Housing Coalition Monthly Meeting

The Brown County Housing and Homeless Coalition would like to offer an opportunity for education, sharing and awareness on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015, 8:30-9:30 am at Green Bay Community Church.

This time will be set aside to hear from those in our community who have dealt with many aspects of the Human Trafficking industry. Our featured guest speaker will be Sarah Boes, Founder/Executive Director of More Precious than Rubies.

In Northeastern Wisconsin the Human Trafficking has reached staggering levels of activity and impact. In October of 2015 our area police departments, Green Bay, DePere and Ashwaubenon, participated in a nationwide FBI sting operation. As a result of this operation, 10 adult victims were recovered and 3 traffickers were arrested. As this traffic increases, the impact on the safety of our children, neighborhoods and livelihood becomes at risk.
