Monday, November 16th: Hunger and Homeless Week Kick Off, Whitney Park, 800 Main St., 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Come to the park for coffee, chili, and live music performed by Skip Jones and Dan Robinson. Stay for a proclamation by Mayor Schmidt and County Exe
cutive Streckenbach, followed by a bench dedication ceremony honoring the lives of current homeless and those who have passed.

Tuesday, November 17th: Envisioning the End Of Homelessness, St. Norbert Abbey’s Norbertine Center for Spirituality 1016 Broadway, De Pere.
Karina Omalley will give a presentation on the needs of the homeless in our community. After the presentation attendees will break up into groups to strategically plan and discuss ways to end homelessness in Brown County. Register with the Norbertines at

Wednesday, November 18th: Walk In Our Shoes: Latino Simulation, Down town YWCA, 230 S. Madison St.
Simulation will take place from 12:30pm-3:00pm. Come and experience what it is like to be homeless and Latino in Brown County. Participants will learn what it is like to live as a Latino in our community. This experience will also combat myths and stereotypes while promoting cultural understanding. Wednesday, November 18th: A Place at the Table, Grace Lutheran Church; 321 S. Madison St.
The League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay is sponsoring a viewing of “A place at the table.” The movie is rated PG and tells the story of three families dealing with poverty. Viewing begins at 6PM.


Thursday, November 19th: Resource Fair, 831 Schoen St, Green Bay; 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Community event at which all agencies that provide services, directly and indirectly, to homeless individuals and families will be present to exchange information and improve continuum of care within our community.

Thursday, November 19th: Housing Resource Day, 831 Schoen St, Green Bay; 12:00am to 2:00pm. All Agencies that provide services directly to the local homeless populations provide a “One-stop-shop” to assist anyone struggling with homelessness in obtaining resources.

Thursday, November 19th: Habitat Home Dedication, 2422 Duck Creek Parkwa, Green Bay; 5:30PM.
Come celebrate the completion of Habitat for Humanity’s new home for a local family.
